Summary

We are looking for a self-driven and product-oriented Middle, or Senior Data Engineer, to help us build together an amazing project. A person with leading qualities, who are interested in influencing the project, proposing his ideas, and bringing them to an end.

Our client is a product-oriented start-up based in the UK, which has proved its successes in the market. The product got the best service provider award in 2020 and won government grant nominations for innovation in 2019.
Despite the success and stability in the market, we managed to keep the spirit of the start-up and we would like to save this atmosphere for the future.

The product is an investment platform for small and medium-sized businesses, where users can apply for financial assistance or find investors willing to support them.
The main idea is to find a perfect match between clients and investors.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Python programming

  • Experience with PostgresSQL

  • Experience with MongoDB

  • Working Experience with Airflow and Data modelling

  • Has some analytical skills

  • Has experience in building a data warehouse (facts, dimensions etc)

  • At least Upper-Intermediate English level
Responsibilities

  • Update, improved data warehouse and improve database tests written in Python

  • Engage with management team improve our reporting layer (currently metabase)

  • Expand loan pricing estimation Python model (simpler than it sounds)

  • Develop Data Engineering expertise in the company
