What is this project about? Is it a new one or is it already in development?

It’s an award-winning ongoing project based in the UK. We have been actively working on this project for more than two years. The product is an investment platform for small and medium-sized businesses, where users can apply for financial assistance or find investors willing to support them. The main idea is to find a perfect match between clients and investors.

What is so great about this project?

It’s a project for someone who is looking for a new challenge and great learning experience. Our perfect match is a passionate developer willing to develop leadership qualities and somebody who is interested in taking an active part in project strategic development, brainstorming ideas, and bringing them to life. Despite the success and stability in the market, the client managed to keep the startup spirit inside the team and is working to carry on this atmosphere in the future.

Who are the people I am going to work with?

There are senior engineers involved in the project development who make up a highly skilled and fun team to work with. Also, our PM Ira is making sure everything, and everyone works smoothly. The team is already working on some new features, and soon the platform will provide consulting, advertising, and insights.

Requirements

  • 1 year of relevant experience in Java/Kotlin;

  • Nice to have knowledge of algorithms and data structures;

  • Nice to have experience with Kubernetes/Docker, Mongo, SQL, RabbitMQ;

  • Basic knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript would be a plus;

  • Experience with Git version control system;

  • Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Responsibilities

  • Take part in the development of trending fintech solutions;

  • Communicate constantly with the multinational team (the UK and Portugal);

  • Take part in technical discussions;

  • Be part of a team responsible for the extraction, verification and delivery of high-quality data from a variety of sources;

  • Help with data quality issue identification and data quality logic improvements.
