What is this project about? Is it a new one or is it already in development?

It’s an award-winning ongoing project based in the UK. We have been actively working on this project for more than two years. The product is an investment platform for small and medium-sized businesses, where users can apply for financial assistance or find investors willing to support them. The main idea is to find a perfect match between clients and investors.

Who are the people I am going to work with?

You will be part of a distributed international team. There are PM, UI, data engineer, java engineer involved in the project development, who make up a highly skilled and fun team to work with. Also, our PM Mykola is making sure everything, and everyone works smoothly. The team is already working on some new features, and soon the platform will provide consulting, advertising, and insights.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of java development experience;

  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker, Mongo, SQL, RabbitMQ;

  • Knowledge of Git version control system;

  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures;

  • English level — Upper-intermediate.
Responsibilities:

  • Development trending fintech solution;

  • Constant communication with multinational team (the UK and Portuguese);

  • Taking part in the technical decision making process;

  • Be prepared to offer super revolutionary ideas;

  • Taking part in technical discussions;

  • Be ready to take the lead and take the initiative;

  • Do R&D and explore alternative technical solutions.
